About Us

The Sustainable Livelihoods Consult (SLi) was established with the belief that there are margins of institutional capacity, knowledge, and community resources that could be mobilized, refined and laid at the door step of marginalized groups and individuals to enable them climb out of poverty.

Formed after years of interaction with development partners, marginalized and vulnerable groups, government ministries department and agencies, the framers of Sustainable Livelihood Consult believe that economically active poor groups and individuals can be helped out of poverty through profit oriented commercial approach to livelihood activities and agriculture instead of subsidies.
